World Health Organization has issued the new directors to the healthcare workers that corona virus can go airborne. They workers need to take the airborne precautions at the time of treating the patients, who are affected by the corona virus. This study was published in the New England journal of Medicine and it stated that the COVID-19 particles can remain in the air for about three hours and they can remain infectious on copper surfaces for about 4 hours and 24 hours on the card board and 72 hours on the stainless steel and plastic. The head of WHO emerging diseases and zoonosis unit said that the studies have confirmed that corona virus can remain infectious in the air, when any person transmit it by sneezing or coughing. As the number of the corona virus cases are increased in Europe and USA because the countries did not show their seriousness regarding the tests, isolation and there are contact tracing of the corona virus cases are increased.

The government of Pakistan should pay the attention on the warning of WHO and they need to provide the enough personal prospective gear to the frontline healthcare workers. Dr Usama Riaz is the 26 years old doctor and he was stationed on quarantine center in Gilgit to screen pilgrims returning from Iran and Iraq and he succumbed to corona virus.
