Doha, Qatar is getting ready to host the FIFA World Cup 2022 and it has built the first ever air conditioned stadium to play the football matches during the world cup. The head of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hammad As Sani has inaugurated the stadium before the final of the Ameer Cup.

Qatar will host the FIFA world cup 2022 and the administration has prepared this stadium five years before the start of the world cup 2022. This stadium was prepared in 1976 to play the Gulf Club and the Asian games 2006 were also conducted in this stadium. Now this stadium has been changed completely. After the up-gradation of the venue, the final of the Ameer Cup was the first match to be played here and the president of FIFA, President Asain Football Confederation and 40,000 spectators were present in this stadium.

The latest technology is being use to keep the temperature minimum and temperature of the ground is kept at 20 degree centigrade and the temperature of the stands remained at 23 degree. The unique design of the stadium and the latest cooling technology is the center of attraction in this stadium. The sports museum in the stadium will also become functional and work is being carried on to increase the capacity of the spectators.

The caliph stadium will be the first stadium to conduct the FIFA world cup in which lead lights will also be used. The world cup 2022 will be played from 21 November to 18 December. Qatar will have to construct about 8 venues to organize the mega event and the administration has given the dead line of 2020 to complete these projects.
