It is also considered to ask social media password from people of 7 banned countries who want to visit USA. The purpose of this step is to make the checking system more secure but it has not been decided yet.
American Homeland Security’s minister John Kelly said that American embassies around the world can ask people from those who take visa about their social media password. The purpose behind this is to know more truths about their background.
He said that checking system in these countries is very weak which makes it difficult for them to decide. After getting the password, they can see themselves that what they do on internet and if they don’t cooperate then they will not be allowed to enter USA.
John Kelly told that no final decision has been taken so far about this matter.
