The designer has developed the folding and recyclable bike helmet and he is named as the winner of the James Dyson Awards of the year. Isis Shiffer has prepared this EcoHelmet from the recycled papers which are woven into the honeycomb structure in order to protect the head of the cyclist from any impact from any side. This helmet is covered with biodegradable coating to make it rainproof for about three hours.

Shiffer has completed her graduation from Pratt institute of Design, New York and he won £30,000 from the competition, which is open for the students of the university and the recent graduates. She said that she completed her study at Royal College of Arts and the Imperial College of London for a semester and got the access to the crash lab of imperial. She has a plan to sell this EcoHelmet at the bike share stations in London just for £4 per helmet.

The simplicity of the EcoHelmet shows the impressive amount of research and development work and she is now looking forward for EcoHelmet, which is used in bike shares all over the world.
