The detail of the enabling of debit card shows that the debit card holders of MCB can use their debit cards for online shopping and transaction. An official of MCB has confirmed that the MCB debit cards are enabled for the internet transactions and the activation request can be generated by the user to get online shopping with the use of MCB debit cards function. The official also confirmed that no transaction fee is charged with the MCB cards to use it online.
How to Activate MCB Debit Card for Online Shopping
- They can dial MCB Helpline (111-000-622)
- The clients can ask support representative to enable the debit card for online shopping
- They need to provide requested verification info
- The MCB debit card is enabled.
- The MCB Debit card will be activated for online shopping for 15 days
When your MCB debit card is activated, you can use MCB debit cards to do online shopping.
The customers need to know that their internet shopping and payment through the MCB card will be deactivated automatically after 15 days. When the customers need to do internet shopping and online payment, then the customers will have to re-activate their MCB card once again.
MCB made it clear that there are no transaction charges incurred on the online payment with the use of MCB cards. If the customers have to pay on the internet in non PKR currency, then 3.5% currency exchange fee will be applicable on the internet shopping.
