Mobilink has announced that they are going to launch the biometric verification system in its 5 Customer Care Centers and 32 franchises in the Karachi city. Mobilink has taken this step for the verification of the SIMs to meet the deadline of 30 Nov 2013 of the regulator. Mobilink has already started 179 verification systems to verify the SIMs activation and these verification systems will also continue their working along with the new biometric verification system so that the security can also be improved.

Mobilink has started this biometric verification system and completed the test run of this biometric system on 37 point of sales machines on the Customer Care Divisions and on the franchises successfully so that their verification process and security system can be processed uninterruptedly. To make more competent, Mobilink has arranged trainings of over 150 personnel of the sales, customer care staff, franchises and customer care representatives to provide quality of service to the customers.

Head of Sales of Mobilink has shown his satisfaction over the successful installation and function of the biometric verification system of the SIMs during the first phase of this system. He also said that Mobilink abide by the instructions issued from the regulator and this biometric SIM verification system will help in implementing and ensuring the safe and secure biometric verification system for the people of Pakistan.
