We’ve confirmed with sources that country’s largest cellular operator Mobilink is ready to get new Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Andis Locmelis has completed his service term of three years, who’s the outgoing Chief Financial Officer.

Sources which are directly familiar with the development, confirmed that the currently Chief Financial Officer of Banglalink (VimpelCom’s cellular arm in Bangladesh), Mr. Mohamed Osman will be appointed Mobilink’s new CFO and by the end of next month, he’ll replace ongoing CFO.

Mr. Osman served the company as Chief Technical Officer and Financial Director before serving Banglalink as CFO. For some time, he also remained the acting CEO of Banglalink. In similar areas, he also served at Orascom Telecom and Mobinil.

Mr. Osman will manage Mobilink’s fraud and supply chain, finances and revenues. At a time when Mobilink’s revenues have gone flat due to tough competition and saturating mobile phone penetration in the country, he’s becoming CFO.

From Helwan University Cairo, Mr. Osman has an accounting degree.
