Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Apple, Intel and many others have recognized him at the age of just 13. In just 3 years, he got every important information about hacking and identified weaknesses in the systems of Silicon Valley companies which earned him several awards and successes. Microsoft even has to make sure his age from his father in order to recognize his skills in the field of online security.
Muhammad Shahzad is the name of this boy who himself learned hacking with his talent which earned him and Pakistan a place in global tech firms. His achievements are also presented at few local channels also including “Hasb e Hal” program of Dunya TV along with PTV, Samaa, Geo and others. Along with that, he is also co-authoring a book which is about Web Application Penetration testing.
The Beginning of a Journey
Muhammad is fond of computers almost from beginning of his life. In KG class, he had his own email address while he entered the world of ethical hacking due to his interest about the inner world of World Wide Web.
Ethical hacking has the same process of breaching the security of a system like the usual hacking that we see in Hollywood movies and read in the news but the difference is because of their purpose as the normal hacker only creates problem for others while the ethical hackers helps the corporations by strengthening their system’s security.
Muhammad also identified the weakness in the security of Android OS 4.4 while his contribution was recognized by Android Security Team and they completed their security in the next released functions.
At 10 years of age, Muhammad started learning about web security online and also performed this knowledge practically. In just 3 years, he recognized several online security weaknesses, wrote a Research paper for a weakness and became a public speaker in different institutes in Pakistan. In order to strengthen his skills, he is learning, PHP, Python and C++ languages and also writing a book.
A Look at the Guy Behind those Hacking Skills
Currently, he is studying in Beaconhouse while he also loves to play cricket and football and watch movies. Muhammad also told that his current favorite movie is Chris Helmsworth’s “Blackhat” which is also about hacking.
All over Pakistan in the universities and other academic institutes, Muhammad has also done public speaking on numerous occasions. Public speaking is a difficult job in Pakistan but it’s not such difficult for genius like Muhammad Shahzad. He says that he knows about the thing he has to speak.
A strange fact is that Muhammad Shahzad has achieved all these capabilities by himself without any certification and his skills are even acknowledged by Silicon Valley companies also.
What the future holds for this young prodigy
Muhammad wants to achieve merit for Atchison. He also wants to be a world renowned ethical hacker from Pakistan which would make him and his country positively famous in the world. His friends, family members and other hackers are helping him for his cause while he is also hoping complete assistance from the government of Pakistan also.
