The Government of Pakistan is committed to promote technology in the country to make Pakistan empowered with the demands of IT and telecom sector. The govt has been introducing Technology Parks and has already announced various projects in this regard. The key puropose of this initiative is to reach the goals of the Digital Pakistan Vision proposed by Prime Minster of Pakistan.
The government has announced to establish a Special Technology Zone in Islamabad. The decision was taken by Federal Cabinet in the meeting held with Prime Minister, Imran Khan in Islamabad.
In the meeting it was decided to establish the Special Technology Zone in the capital territory. 120 acres of land is approved for the establishment of the Special Technology Zone.
The establishment of Technology Zone in Islamabad is a remarkable step taken by Federal government that will be helpful for the youth to enhance their skills and capabilities to take part in the race of technological revolution around the globe.
