The skilled persons around the world will soon be able to visit Germany for doing Job. In this regard the Germany is ready to implement new skilled Immigration Act on 1st March 2020. Due to this law the procedure for immigration will become easier for non Europeans. According to this law non Europeans will be able to stay in Germany to avail the job opportunities and vocational trainings for their skill development as well. But the highly qualified and professional persons will follow the existing immigration law of the Germany but in future it is also expected to be changed. The Framework is reshaped as follows:
A qualified Professional-Definition
The Degree holders and persons with at least 2 years vocational training will be called qualified professionals from the next month. The qualification criteria will be judged by the relevant German authorities and qualified professionals will be able to work in any field related to their qualifications.
No Preference for Europeans
According to existing rule, the non Europeans are only entertained if there are no applications from the Germans or Europeans, but the new act will allow anyone to apply for job. The condition of a university degree is still valid for a blue card.
Job Search Visa
As discussed above the non degree holders i.e. persons with just vocational training will get a job search visa for Germany for 6 months duration. The visa application requirements are:
- Educational documents to be recognized by German authorities
- B1 certificate for the German language
- Bank statement showing enough money for monthly expenses in the country
During 6 month stay the jobs search visa holders will be allowed to work 10 hours a week. The permanent residence permit will be issued in 4 years instead of 5 years.
